Based on new sources, the article describes the work carried out in the republic during World War II in the field of agriculture, in particular, irrigation construction. During the war, irrigation construction carried out by the state rose to a new level, and the selfless contribution of the people was one of the main factors. It is analyzed that in our republic, many new land areas were irrigated by irrigation networks built by the forces of the people.
