The article examines the potential and challenges of the Kashkadarya region of Uzbekistan as a tourist destination. Tourism in this region has significant cultural and natural potential, including historical landmarks, architectural complexes, mountain landscapes, and unique cuisine. However, despite these advantages, the development of tourism in the area faces several issues, such as a limited variety of tourist offerings, underdeveloped infrastructure, and environmental problems. To address these challenges, the article proposes strategies including the creation of new tourist routes, the promotion of eco-tourism, infrastructure improvement, and service quality enhancement. Attracting investments and actively promoting the region on international platforms play a vital role in the industry's development. The article also emphasizes the necessity of cooperation between the government, businesses, and international partners to ensure the successful development of tourism and to enhance Uzbekistan's image as an attractive travel destination.
