Annotatsiya

This article describes the aerodynamic characteristics of high-speed passenger trains "Afrosiyob", which are available in "UTY" JSC, based on their technical characteristics. Also, the results of the analytical and experimental research carried out in the developed countries of the world to determine the highest value of the aerodynamic pressure that can occur during the crossing of trains are deeply analyzed. According to this, the aerodynamic effects of the trains were studied in the process of crossing them into following and transiting types. It was determined that the peak value of aerodynamic pressure, which can negatively affect the stability  of trains, is formed in the head of the train, and while the nature of this pressure remains to be studied, its function of dependence on multivariable quantities in determining the value of aerodynamic pressure was determined. The resulting function was recorded by adapting it to the existing local conditions, and calculations were carried out on it. As a result, it was determined that the peak of the aerodynamic pressure, which can be generated at the distance between the adjacent track axles specified in the normative documents, is within the parameters specified in the railway safety standards. This determined that safety requirements are fully met during train crossing. Also, to the theoretical and practical scientific research works carried out in European standards in determining the peak value of the existing aerodynamic pressure, C.J. Baker on the results of Baker's experimental research, universal functions adapted to local conditions were created based on the improvement of the proposed empirical functions.
