This article investigates the valency characteristics of adverbs in the Uzbek language and the lexicographic interpretation of private combinatory combinations formed with their participation. Drawing on the theory of valency and combinability, the study analyses the specific linguistic features of adverbial private combinations, their structural patterns, and the ways they are presented in both international and Uzbek dictionaries. Particular attention is given to the intermediate status of private combinations between free word combinations and phraseological units, as well as to the practical implications of their systematic lexicographic description for educational lexicography, corpus linguistics and machine translation.
