This study develops a methodological approach to the selection and statistical preparation of indicators for natural disaster risk assessment in the Fergana Valley. Risk is assessed based on four components, taking into account the territorial relevance of indicators, data quality, and interrelationships among indicators. The indicators are organized into a unified statistical matrix and prepared for correlation analysis and normalization. The proposed approach provides a methodological basis for the comprehensive assessment of disaster risk at the regional level.
