Annotatsiya

This article examines the educational reforms of the Jadid movement in Turkestan at the beginning of the 20th century, emphasizing their educational and socio-political significance. The study analyzes the views of prominent Jadid thinkers such as Mahmudkhoja Behbudiy, Munavvar Qori, and Abdulla Avloniy regarding the establishment of «New Method» schools, the creation of textbooks, and the integration of religious and secular sciences. Furthermore, it highlights the specific characteristicsof Jadid schools in Bukhara, Khiva, and Samarkand, the activities of charitable societies, and the practice of sending students abroad for higher education. Based on historical and logical principles, the article scientifically substantiates the harmony between the Jadid legacy and the development strategy of «New Uzbekistan.».
