This article discusses the state, which is the main information about the direction of the main stress axes of the earthquake focalmechanisms, built as a result of processing earthquakes recorded in 2016-2018. South Fergana seismogenic zone, which isconsidered a tectonically and seismically active territory. The number of recorded earthquakes in the Fergana Valley is comparedwith the total number of earthquakes in Uzbekistan. Data on the focal mechanisms of selected earthquakes were analyzed basedon azimuthal parameters relative to the north.
