This article presents a scientific-theoretical analysis of the cognitive characteristics that determine adolescents' vulnerability orresilience to cybercrime. The role of risk perception, impulsivity, self-control and decision-making processes typical of thedeveloping adolescent brain is examined within the frameworks of the dual-process theory, social cognitive theory and the generaltheory of crime. It is substantiated that the immaturity of prefrontal regulatory mechanisms, combined with heightened sensitivityto social reward, increases adolescents' susceptibility to online manipulation, cyberbullying and cyber-fraud. Based on thetheoretical analysis, practical recommendations are proposed for developing cognitive-behavioral prevention programs aimed atstrengthening adolescents' digital risk literacy.
