This article proposes an intelligent algorithm for collecting, filtering,prioritizing, and processing sensor data in Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) systemsbased on LoRaWAN and MQTT technologies. The investigated IoT architectureconsists of sensor nodes, a LoRaWAN gateway, an MQTT broker, and a dataprocessing server. The proposed algorithm manages data transmission by taking intoaccount changes in sensor readings, deviations from predefined threshold values, andthe information priority of the collected data. The effectiveness of the algorithm wasevaluated by comparison with a conventional periodic data transmission approach.The model experiment showed that intelligent filtering reduced the number of MQTTmessages by 39.0 %, increased the packet delivery ratio from 91.8 % to 96.4 %, and
