Congenital heart defects are an important problem in pediatrics due to their high prevalence and the need for early surgical correction due to significant health problems and disability in children. According to WHO, congenital heart disease occurs in 0.7-1.7% of newborns. Foreign and domestic studies of the quality of life of patients in the long-term period after surgical treatment of heart defects show that their subsequent life is dominated by social and behavioral problems associated with the characteristics of neuropsychiatric health. Patients with congenital heart disease operated on at an early age, even in the absence of hemodynamic disorders, study less at school, are less emotionally stable and have more difficulties in interpersonal relationships than their healthy peers. In this regard, the issue of studying behavioral disorders and providing timely medical care to children with congenital heart disease of an early age remains relevant and requires scientific research in this direction.
