Annotatsiya

Fibroblast growth factor or FGF belongs to the family of growth factors involved in angiogenesis, wound healing and embryonic development. Fibroblast growth factors are proteins that bind heparin. Interaction with cell surface proteoglycans has been shown to be required for fibroblast growth factors for signaling. Fibroblast growth factors play a key role in the proliferation and differentiation of a wide variety of cells and tissues. In humans, 22 members of the FGF family have been found, all of which are structurally similar signaling molecules. FGF21 - makes it possible to predict mortality of various etiologies, as well as from cardiovascular pathology. Along with this, with an increase in the level of FGF21, the risk of developing a secondary myocardial infarction within 30 days increases.
