This article analyzes the pedagogical potential of the CDIO (Conceive - Design - Implement - Operate) concept and its implementation through cooperation with industrial enterprises in preparing technical university students for the production environment. The theoretical foundations of the CDIO approach, prospects for its adoption within Uzbekistan's higher technical education system, and the pedagogical forms and mechanisms of universityenterprise cooperation are examined. The findings are presented as a model linking each CDIO stage to specific forms of industrial cooperation, and the pedagogical conditions for implementing this model are substantiated.
