Annotatsiya

The article examines transformations in students’ interpretation of literary texts in the context of their interaction with generative artificial intelligence. Unlike approaches that focus on using artificial intelligence as a tool for obtaining ready-made literary analysis, the study proposes viewing it as a source of alternative interpretive hypotheses that are subject to critical evaluation by the learner. The objective of the study is to provide a theoretical rationale and methodological development of a model of dialogic reading of literary texts in the context of students’ interaction with generative artificial intelligence. Particular attention is paid to identifying the mechanisms underlying transformations in students’ literary interpretation after comparing their initial interpretive hypothesis with an alternative interpretation generated by artificial intelligence. To achieve this objective, the study addresses the following tasks: to determine the role of generative artificial intelligence in literary interpretation; to develop a sequence of “initial reading → personal interpretation → interaction with AI → identification of interpretive discrepancies → textual verification → secondary interpretation”; and to systematize the main types of discrepancies between the AI-generated response, the reader’s position, and the literary text.
