Agrarian-industrial policy and its ecological consequences in soviet Uzbekistan (1960–1980)

Annotatsiya

This article explores the socio-ecological problems that emerged in Uzbekistan during the second half of the 20th century, particularly their connection to agrarian policy and the processes of accelerated industrialization. The study analyzes how large industrial enterprises operating without treatment facilities during the 1960s-1980s adversely affected the ecological balance, posed threats to public health, and contributed to other socio-ecological issues, drawing on historical documents.
