This article analyzes the current issues of developing the export activities of smalland medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Uzbekistan and increasing their competitiveness. Therole of SMEs in the economy, the main barriers to their entry into export, state supportmechanisms, internal and external factors for increasing competitiveness are discussed. Thearticle proposes modern directions for increasing export potential and integration into theinternational market.
