Today, there are various problems in meeting the needs of population in housing, and in deciding the fate of unauthorized buildings from legal point of view. This article explores the role and significance of randomly constructed buildings by analyzing the experience of some foreign countries. Also, in course of studying legal documents of foreign countries, the role of unauthorized buildings and their significance in resolving disputes was discussed, proposals and recommendations for our national legislation were developed
