Chronic kidney disease (CKD) among the adult population of Andijan is characterized by high prevalence. The situation is complicated by the fact that every 4th patient with CKD receives adequate therapy or is involved in dispensary observation. These data certainly draw attention to the need to improve modern methods of preventing CKD, as well as adequate treatment, taking into account, first of all, the results of periodic epidemiological studies.
