Annotatsiya

The article describes the methods of pain relief for patients with multiple rib fractures, as well as other aspectsof this topic based on 20 years of scientific and clinical experience of the Republican Scientific Center forEmergency Medical Aid with this category of injury. Pain in multiple rib fractures is usually of high intensityand such simple physiological actions necessary for the processes of sanogenesis as a deep breath, productivecough, change in body position, lead to an even greater increase in pain and the appearance of variouscomplications. To reduce the number of complications, it is necessary to introduce treatment based on not onlyevidence-based medicine, but also a personalized approach to patients, where multimodal pain therapy shouldplay a leading role in the complex treatment of patients with multiple rib fractures.
