This article is devoted to one of the topical issues of modern traumatology and angiosurgery – the possibilityof performing primary reconstructive operations for complete and incomplete amputations, open and closedfractures and dislocations of the bones of the lower extremities in conditions of impaired blood circulation basedon twenty years of experience in treating 151 patients with similar injuries, of which 127 (84.1%) managedto save lives and preserve the damaged segments. The article describes the tactics of providing assistance topatients with various types of injuries and performed reconstructive operations, and certain conclusions aredrawn. A clinical example shows the main stages of performing reconstructions.
