In the structure of diseases of endocrine system, one of the main places is occupied by the pathology of thyroid gland (TG), the growth of which has recently acquired an expanded geographical distribution. The current situation cannot be explained only by increased interest in studying of thyroid diseases, as well as the improvement of methods for their diagnosis. The development of modern therapeutic and surgical methods for treatment of this pathology slightly improves the problem.
