The article provides a systematic analysis of the problems associated with financing investment projectsby joint-stock companies in Uzbekistan and substantiates ways of overcoming them. The problems are grouped into fourcategories — institutional, market, corporate governance and methodological — each supported by statistical evidence. Aset of measures across four directions is proposed to address the identified problems
