This article examines the formation, development, and linguistic features of the terminological system in the field of social media marketing in global linguistics. The rapid development of digital technologies and social networks has given rise to a new type of marketing – social media marketing – as an independent field with its own terminological layer. The article analyzes the processes of globalization and localization of social media marketing terms based on research in English, German, Russian, and Uzbek.
