This article analyzes the theoretical and organizational-economic foundations of the servicesector. The study examines the formation of the service economy, its distinguishing features compared to theproduction sector, and its role in the modern economy. In addition, the article explores the organizational andeconomic factors influencing the development of the service sector, the processes of digital transformation, andmechanisms for improving efficiency. The research findings emphasize the importance of institutional approachesand innovative management methods in enhancing the sustainable development and competitiveness of theservice industry.
