Early pregnancy termination is a significant factor affecting women’s overall health and reproductive potential. Despite a decline in abortion rates in Uzbekistan, early termination still carries risks of infertility, hormonal disorders, and long-term complications. This study aimed to investigate hormonal status and adaptation following early abortion in order to identify optimal approaches to post-abortion care. A cohort of 100 women of reproductive age was examined using retrospective medical record analysis, hormonal profiling, clinical and biochemical tests, and ultrasound imaging. Findings demonstrated that early termination disrupts hormonal balance, prolongs adaptation, and may adversely affect fertility and subsequent pregnancy outcomes. Pharmacological methods were associated with fewer complications compared to surgical ones, while hormonal correction—particularly in combination with folate-containing contraceptives—proved effective in restoring balance and reducing adverse effects. The results highlight the need for individualized, hormone-oriented strategies in post-abortion rehabilitation and preconception care.
