This paper analyzes the assessment of financial risks arising in the development of regional economic growthdrivers, as well as their impact on economic growth and opportunities for their mitigation. The study examines the mainfactors of regional economic development, types of financial risks, and their impact on economic growth. It is substantiatedthat analytical models based on artificial intelligence can serve as effective tools for identifying and forecasting financialrisks.
