This article examines the role and importance of state support mechanisms in the development of the mechanicalengineering industry. Particular attention is paid to tax and customs incentives, subsidies, public investments, creditsystems, financing of innovative projects, and localization policies. In addition, the study analyzes issues related toattracting foreign investment, enhancing competitiveness, and expanding export potential. The research findings indicatethat government support constitutes a key strategic factor in ensuring the sustainable development of the mechanicalengineering sector.
