A local source of noise in cities, mainly caused by transport – urban, rail and air. In large cities, the noise level already exceeds 90 dB and is only growing every year. The purpose of this work is to study the possibility of reducing noise and vibration in transport and technological machines due to the use of a multifunctional anti-corrosion coating. Under laboratory conditions, based on local raw materials, an anticorrosion coating based on epoxy polyurethane with an additive was synthesized. We determined the main quality indicators of the anti-corrosion coating itself, then carried out full-scale tests to effectively reduce noise and vibration in the driver’s cab.
