Annotatsiya

This article provides a comprehensive analysis of Uzbekistan’s involvement in the international transport systemand its geostrategic significance. Due to the country's lack of direct access to seaports, it heavily relies on various transitcorridors for its foreign trade activities. In this regard, the diversification of international transport routes has become one ofUzbekistan’s key strategic priorities. The article examines the strengths and weaknesses of existing routes and highlightsthe advantages of emerging alternatives such as the China–Kyrgyzstan–Uzbekistan railway, the Trans-Caspian corridor,and the Uzbekistan–Iran route. Particular attention is paid to political stability, economic feasibility, and the developmentof transport and logistics infrastructure. The article also puts forward specific recommendations for optimizing transportpolicy, enhancing private sector participation, and strengthening international cooperation.
