Annotatsiya

Despite the ongoing advancements in modern medicine, hypertension remains one of the most pressing issues among cardiovascular diseases. Currently, the incidence of hypertension among the global population is rapidly increasing. The rapid growth of this disease leads to an increase in disability worldwide, as well as an increase in overall mortality. To date, hypertension has not occurred independently, but a number of various pathological processes have been identified, including obesity, diabetes mellitus, coronary heart disease, and kidney dysfunction. Among patients with hypertension combined with obesity and other comorbidities, type 2 diabetes mellitus and hyperlipidemia were more common (53% and 83%, respectively). Several studies have shown that arterial hypertension plays a very important role in the development of carotid artery stenosis (45%), coronary heart disease (43%), and left ventricular hypertrophy (40%) [1]. Based on the results of the aforementioned analysis, timely treatment of GK using drugs with a wide range of effects allows for a sharp reduction in future risk factors and an improvement in the quality of life of patients. In recent years, a number of scientific studies have focused on studying the effectiveness of combined drugs in the absence of monotherapy in patients with hypertension and obesity.
