Ayniqsa, mustaqil mamlakatimiz uchun tadbirkor va ijodkor insonni tayyorlash masalasi ta`limning ustuvor muammosi bo`lib turgan hozirgi sharoitda bu fanning o`qitilishi yanada muhimroq ahamiyat kasb etadi. Ona tili mashg`ulotlarida o`quvchilarning nutqini o`stirish, ularga to`g`ri talaffuz me`yorlarini o`rgatib borish, so`z boyligini kengaytirish har bir ona tili o`qituvchisining bosh vazifasidir.
