The peoples of Karakalpakstan and Uzbekistan have been living together for almost 85 years in all spheres of social and political life. After the collapse of the former Soviet Union, it became the sovereign democratic Republic of Karakalpakstan within Uzbekistan. This fact is confirmed by the fact that the Republic of Uzbekistan recognizes the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Republic of Karakalpakstan. Therefore, the article is a research work aimed at studying the legal foundations of relations between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Karakalpakstan through legislation.
