In this article, the process of inviting a suspect, defendant, defendant in the criminal process was analyzed on the basis of legislative norms. Current norms on ensuring the participation of defenders in the criminal prosessual code of the Republic of Uzbekistan have been analyzed in comparative-legal terms with the norms of criminal prosessual legislation of foreign countries, as well as proposals on improvement of legislation on solving existing problems in the process of applying prosessual legislation.
