На основе данных многих скважин, собранных за последние годы, в статье освещаются результаты изучения специфических литологических, петрографических, стратиграфических и фaциальных особенностей отложений палеогенового периода, распространенных в Ферганской и Приташкентской областях, а также перспективы полезных ископаемых в нерудных полезных ископаемых.
