In this article, the use of digital technologies in the higher education system, based on the analysis of their possibilities, the priority directions of the development of the educational process and the need to apply them to the educational process are justified. Besides, proposals are given on the importance of drawing up scientifically based conclusions on the introduction of digital technologies in the higher education system.
