Ushbu maqolada uran elementining kelib chiqishi, kashf etilish tarixi va yadro fizikasi rivojlanishidagi o‘rni tahlil qilingan. Shuningdek, uranni boyitish texnologiyalari, zamonaviy atom energetikasining rivojlanish tendensiyalari hamda O‘zbekistonning global uran bozoridagi strategik mavqei yoritilgan. Mamlakatimizda uran qazib olishning zamonaviy usullari, «Navoiyuran» davlat korxonasi faoliyati, yangi konlarni o‘zlashtirish istiqbollari va Jizzax atom elektr stansiyasi loyihasining energetik hamda iqtisodiy ahamiyati baholangan. Tadqiqot natijalari O‘zbekistonning jahon yadro sanoatidagi roli tobora ortib borayotganini ko‘rsatadi.
