In this article, the genetic description of languages in the geneological analysis of terms related to a field, the aspects that should be paid attention to, the origin of economic terms, their variants in other languages of the language family to which they belong, similarities and differences between them different aspects are highlighted. Recommendations are given about adding news to the explanations of economic terms in explanatory dictionaries of the Uzbek language.
