In this article the author dwells on a number of changes and problems in the field of healthcare in the Uzbek SSR in the years following the Second World War, as well as on their historical analysis. In addition, the implementation of the tasks of protecting the health of the population of the Republic and qualitatively improving medical services for them, together with the mistakes and shortcomings that were made, are described.
