Based on the geometric parameters of the working chamber of the gin, the authors determined the amount of raw cotton and the number of seeds accumulating in the raw material roll. The number of seeds leaving the ginning chamber through the grid bars per second and the number of seeds collecting in the centre of the working chamber were determined.
