Every judoka forms his own particular set of grips and techniques. Today a tendency is observed of preparing counterattacks against standard actions by means of non-traditional techniques. In the preparation of highly qualified judokas non-traditional grips are also being taken into account. In a competitive bout the effectiveness of technical and tactical actions declines from the first minute of the bout to its end. It is highest in the first 3 minutes, after which a decrease in the stability of technique is observed. Individual and theoretical models of the technical and tactical actions of highly qualified judokas have been developed.
