This article analyses the global experience of inclusive education and the model of inclusive education being implemented in Uzbekistan. Within the global experience, the practices of advanced countries in implementing inclusive education are presented, including the approaches to inclusive education of Finland, Canada, Japan, South Africa and other states. In Uzbekistan, positive steps are being taken to develop inclusive education, and individual approaches based on special needs are being applied to pupils. The article discusses the main normative and legal documents for applying inclusive education in the education system, pedagogical support, the training of teachers and the development of special education programmes.
