The formation of professional competencies in wrestling coaches is a multifaceted process that presupposes the integration of pedagogical methods, sports sciences and practical training. This article sets out the scientific and pedagogical foundations of improving the professional skills of wrestling coaches. It examines the role of formal and non-formal education in forming the core competencies necessary for effective coaching. The analysis emphasizes the importance of psychological preparation, communication skills and knowledge of physical conditioning, which are essential for developing the full potential of athletes. In addition, the article highlights continuous professional development, practical experience and the application of new teaching technologies as central components of raising the qualifications of coaches. By examining both theoretical foundations and practical strategies, this study provides a comprehensive view of how wrestling coaches can be developed in order to meet the growing demands of modern sport.
