Ir-spectroscopic study of some rutin complexes synthesized by the solid-phase method

The IR spectra of polymer complexes of rutin obtained by the mechanochemical method with FeSO4, starch, dextrin and urotropin were studied. Analysis of the frequencies of the spectra of rutin and of the corresponding polymer complexes showed that the most active groups are the alcoholic and phenolic hydroxyl groups; the carbonyl group of rutin does not participate in the formation of the polymer complexes. The magnitude of the energy intensity of the centrifugal mill affects the strength of the hydrogen bond by means of which the rutin:dextrin polymer complex is formed.
