Annotatsiya

Neuromorphometric characteristics were studied in 84 patients diagnosed with congenital anomalies of the central nervous system, Spina Bifida. In half of all cases, this pathology was localized in the lumbosacral region of the spine – 42 (50%) cases. As a control group, morphometric MRI parameters (in some cases supplemented with MSCT) were additionally studied in 20 individuals without Spina Bifida and without spinal neurological disorders.During the study, we applied our developed method for measuring the angle of departure of the spinal nerve roots (ADSR) in the lumbar spine using the computer software “Uglomer 360°”. The integration of neuromorphometric analysis with existing diagnostic methods (MRI, MSCT, and ENMG) made it possible to identify patterns in the manifestation of symptoms and to predict the outcomes of surgical treatment. Objective of the study: to analyze the clinical manifestations of congenital spinal cord hernias considering the identified individual neuromorphometric characteristics.
