The article discusses the geological structure and petroleum potential of the Upper Jurassic carbonate deposits in the Uznkuduk area (Kashkadarya region, Uzbekistan). Based on integrated interpretation of 2D/3D seismic data and results from exploration drilling, the structural model of the field has been refined, reef structures and anomalous zones with improved reservoir properties have been identified. Locations for three exploration wells are proposed to assess the hydrocarbon potential of the identified anomalies.
