Mazkur maqolada Quljuqtov tog‘lari hududida keng tarqalgan devon davri yotqiziqlarining litologik tarkibi, qatlamlanish xususiyatlari hamda fasial o‘zgaruvchanligi kompleks va tizimli tahlil qilinadi. Tadqiqot jarayonida hududda uchraydigan terrigen, karbonat va vulkanogen jinslarning mineralogik-petrografik tarkibi, strukturaviy-matritsali tuzilishi va stratigrafik joylanishiga alohida e’tibor qaratilgan. Devon yotqiziqlarining qatlamlanishida kuzatiladigan ritmik almashinuvlar, fasial zonallik va organogen jinslarning shakllanish xususiyatlari paleogeografik sharoitlar bilan uzviy bog‘liq holda izohlanadi. Olingan ma’lumotlar devon davrida hududda sayoz dengiz, delta va rifli platforma muhitlari navbatma-navbat ustunlik qilganini ko‘rsatadi. Shuningdek, cho‘kindi to‘planish jarayonlarining tektonik faollik va vulkanizm bilan bog‘liqligi ham ilmiy asosda yoritilgan. Maqola natijalari Quljuqtov tog‘lari devon kompleksining geologik evolyutsiyasini tiklash, uning stratigrafik tizimdagi o‘rnini aniqlash hamda mintaqaning paleogeografik rivojlanish bosqichlarini chuqurroq anglashga xizmat qiladi. Tadqiqot xulosalari mintaqaviy geologiya, stratigrafiya va paleogeografiya sohalari uchun muhim ilmiy ahamiyat kasb etadi.
