The article presents the results of the analysis of the age and spatial relationships of local structures of the third rank formed at various stages of the Mesozoic-Cenozoic history, the relationship between the spatial distribution of known hydrocarbon deposits and local structures of the third rank at various stages of the region's development, the results of the allocation of oil and gas-bearing areas taking into account the paleotectonic features of the Mesozoic-Cenozoic development of the region's structures. The article also presents a distribution of fields based on a third-rank structural plan, represented by local anticline structures—potential hydrocarbon traps in two aspects. Overall, based on paleotectonic data, oil and gas accumulation zones are identified, in which hydrocarbon fields are clustered in areas differing in age and inheritance, as well as reorganization and the emergence of new elements.
