For many centuries, religion has been a part of the spiritual and socio-political life of the Central Asian society. The main feature of the review in Central Asia is syncretism – the combination of heterogeneous beliefs and cults. The region entered the Muslim world with special cultural and civilizational features, hallmark the ideas of humanism, tolerance and enlightenment. Confessional syncretism has had a strong influence on the history of the region.
