It is necessary to emphasize that as a result of the reforms carried out in the field of science in recent years in our country, opportunities for studying Sufism are expanding in the fields of history and Islamic studies. The article analyzed the scientific study of Sufism in the years of independence from the perspective of history and islamic studies. Scientific- conclusions were given to approaches to the study of source studies, historiography, historical process and eras.
