Annotatsiya

This article discusses the role of phraseological units in literary discourse and examines their aesthetic function in artistic texts. Phraseological units are not only fixed expressions of a language, but also important stylistic means that help writers create vivid images, express emotions, characterize people and reflect cultural values. In literary discourse, idioms, proverbs, sayings and other phraseological expressions make the text more expressive and closer to real speech. They also help to reveal the author’s individual style and strengthen the emotional influence of the text on the reader. The article shows that phraseological units perform several functions in literary discourse, including expressive, evaluative, cultural, characterological and aesthetic functions.
