Annotatsiya

Post-traumatic pneumonia is one of the most common and severe complications in patients with thoracic trauma, significantly increasing morbidity, mortality, and healthcare burden. This study aims to evaluate modern advances in the prevention of post-traumatic pneumonia and determine the effectiveness of comprehensive, evidence-based strategies in improving clinical outcomes. The research included patients with chest injuries who were divided into two groups: a main group receiving modern preventive measures and a control group treated with standard approaches. Preventive strategies included multimodal analgesia, respiratory physiotherapy, early mobilization, non-invasive ventilation, and minimally invasive surgical interventions such as video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery. The results demonstrated a significant reduction in pneumonia incidence, shorter hospital stay, and improved respiratory outcomes in the main group compared to the control group. The findings highlight the importance of early, multidisciplinary, and protocol-based management in preventing pulmonary complications. The study concludes that the integration of modern preventive strategies into clinical practice is essential for improving patient outcomes in thoracic trauma.
